Mirror Multimedia Communications - MMC (formally registered as Mirror Visuals Imagery) is a full-service multimedia communications company working at the intersection of media and communications, development, and impact.
We are a pan African company, headquartered in Nigeria with outposts in Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa. We also have a diverse team of professionals (full time, freelance and collaborating companies) that have expert knowledge of traditional and new media. Our experts have varied experiences in development communication and have passion for creating media content that highlights development, social and political realities in the society.

AFRILABS - ANNUAL GATHERING OF INNOVATION HUB 2019 - ETHIOPIAMMC covered the 4th AfriLabs Annual Gathering, held at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa under the theme "Connect: Towards an Integrated Innovation Ecosystem." The three-day gathering brought together over 350 leaders from Africa's tech and innovation ecosystem; hub operators, investors, entrepreneurs, and development partners including AUC, GIZ, UNECA, and the African Development Bank. MMC's coverage captured the panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions that shaped the continent's innovation agenda for the year ahead. -
AFRICA GOVERNANCE ARCHITECTURE 7th HUMANITARIAN SYMPOSIUM 2019 - NAIROBI KENYAMMC provided event documentation for the African Union's Humanitarian Symposium in Nairobi, part of an annual series convened by the AU Commission's Department of Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development alongside partners such as the IFRC and UNHCR. The symposium brought together humanitarian agencies, AU member states, and development partners to address Africa's ongoing humanitarian priorities. MMC captured the sessions and stakeholder engagement throughout the event. -
AFRICA GOVERNANCE ARCHITECTURE 8TH HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE 2019- KAMPALA UGANDAMirror Multimedia Communications (MMC) provided event coverage for the African Union's 8th High-Level Dialogue, held in Kampala under the theme "The Year of Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa." The dialogue convened AU member states, government ministers, and continental stakeholders to address one of Africa's most pressing humanitarian challenges. MMC documented the proceedings, panel sessions, and delegate engagement throughout the event. -
NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMPLOYMENT PROMOTIONMMC provided communications coverage for a national conference addressing employment promotion in Abuja, Nigeria, convened in support of the country's employment policy framework and delivered in partnership with organizations including the ILO. The conference brought together government, labour, and employer stakeholders to advance Nigeria's national dialogue on decent work and job creation. MMC documented the proceedings for the International Labour Organization ILO's communications and reporting needs. -
AFRICA CDC COVID-19 BINGWA INITIATIVE IDEALIZATION WORKSHOP 2022Mirror Multimedia Communications (MMC) was engaged by Africa CDC to provide event photography and communications coverage for the Bingwa Initiative Idealization Workshop, held in Lagos, Nigeria as part of the continental COVID-19 response strategy. Over the course of the workshop, MMC documented strategy sessions, panel discussions, and stakeholder engagement; capturing the collaborative process behind one of Africa's key public health resilience initiatives. -
BOOSTING REGIONAL INTEGRATION: AN ITC DOCUMENTARY ON WEST AFRICAN VALUE CHAINS - 2023In April 2023, Mirror Multimedia Communications MMC produced a 7-minute documentary for the International Trade Centre (ITC); the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations; exploring value chain networks and regional integration across West Africa. Framed around the question "How can we boost regional integration and foreign investment in West Africa?", the documentary features interviews conducted across Lagos and Abuja with Mr. Kolawole A. Sofola, Acting Director of Trade at the ECOWAS Commission; Natasha Aniekwu, Chief Technical Adviser at ITC; and Bolupe Adebiyi, CEO of Cotton Loops and a beneficiary of the West Africa Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP).
