Mirror Multimedia Communications (MMC) provided event coverage for the 2nd AfricaCDC Youth Pre-Conference, held November 25–26, 2023 in Lusaka, Zambia, on the margins of the 3rd International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2023). Convened by AfricaCDC in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, GIZ, and UNICEF under the theme “Youth Leadership for a Safer and Healthier Africa,” the conference brought together over 250 young African public health professionals from more than 48 countries and the diaspora. MMC documented the panel discussions, breakout sessions, Exhibition booth interactions and youth-led initiatives shaping the continent’s public health leadership pipeline.
