Mirror Multimedia Communications provided photography coverage for the Continental Workshop to Promote the Socio-Economic Rights of Women, including in the context of extractive industries, held September 25–26, 2025 in Accra, Ghana. Organized by the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), in partnership with Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the GIZ-African Union AWARE Project and Ipas Africa Alliance, the workshop convened representatives from AU Member States, national human rights institutions, civil society organizations, judicial bodies, and the private sector to address the rights of women in the extractive sector, alongside women with disabilities and elderly and young women.
