In April 2023, Mirror Multimedia Communications MMC produced a 7-minute documentary for the International Trade Centre (ITC); the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations; exploring value chain networks and regional integration across West Africa. Framed around the question “How can we boost regional integration and foreign investment in West Africa?“, the documentary features interviews conducted across Lagos and Abuja with Mr. Kolawole A. Sofola, Acting Director of Trade at the ECOWAS Commission; Natasha Aniekwu, Chief Technical Adviser at ITC; and Bolupe Adebiyi, CEO of Cotton Loops and a beneficiary of the West Africa Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP). MMC handled the full production; from interview coordination and filming across both cities to shaping a narrative that captures both the policy and business perspectives driving West Africa’s trade integration agenda.
