Mirror Multimedia Communications MMC was engaged by the International Trade Centre (ITC) to provide photography and videography coverage of a study visit by the East African Community (EAC) Secretariat to the ECOWAS Commission, held June 22–24, 2025 in Abuja. Facilitated by ITC through the EU-funded EU-EAC MARKUP II programme, in partnership with the EAC Secretariat and ECOWAS Commission, the visit brought together Trade Promotion Organisations from both regional blocs to deepen cooperation, broaden intra-regional trade, and strengthen relations between East and West Africa. MMC produced a 9-minute documentary capturing the visit’s proceedings and exploring how ECOWAS’s institutional experience is informing the EAC’s own strategic focus; part of a growing pattern of engagement between the two Regional Economic Communities. Notably, this assignment ran concurrently with MMC’s coverage of the RHNK 8th Scientific Conference in Mombasa, Kenya; with the team delivering full coverage across both engagements simultaneously, in two different countries.
