Mirror Multimedia Communications MMC provided photography and video coverage for AfricaCDC at the 4th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2025), held October 22–25, 2025 in Durban, South Africa. The centerpiece of this coverage was the official launch of AfricaCDC’s Strategy for Youth Engagement and Participation in Global Health (YES!Health) 2025–2028, unveiled during a Special Session titled “YES to Health: Why Youth Belong at the Centre of Global Health.” MMC produced three pieces from the assignment: a launch video for the YES!Health strategy itself; a story-driven piece tracing the journey to the strategy’s launch, featuring champions from Africa CDC youth initiatives including the Bingwa Initiative, Bingwa PLUS, the Digital Health Network, and the Youth Advisory Team; and a highlight video capturing the special session in which the strategy was formally launched. The full assignment — photography and three video productions — was delivered using a single camera each for photography and videography, with the team maximizing camera angles and coverage across the session.
